Case Introduction

ZOZEN Boiler recently partnered with a cottonseed oil plant in Tanzania to provide a 20-ton DZL series biomass steam boiler. The plant sought a solution that would meet their production needs while also minimizing environmental impact.

ZOZEN’s third-generation DZL series biomass steam boiler stood out with its innovative design, featuring a chain grate and independent air chamber. This design ensures complete combustion of various biomass fuels, including pellets, rice husks, wood chips, corn cobs, and sawdust, achieving a thermal efficiency exceeding 87.5%. The boiler’s furnace is equipped with densely arranged water-cooled wall tubes, which enhance heat absorption and radiation. Currently, the boiler has been shipped and the installation is underway, with the plant team working diligently on the foundation.

The DZL series boiler is expected to significantly improve the cottonseed oil plant’s operational efficiency and contribute to its environmental goals.
