9 Million Kcal Molten Salt Heater for Steel Industry
Case Introduction
ZOZEN Boiler provided a set of innovative 10500KW RYQ series molten salt heater storage system for a certain steel plant. This system, combined with gas turbine generators, achieves high-efficiency energy utilization and peak load support for the power system. The technological application not only enhances power generation efficiency but also provides a powerful guarantee for the stable operation of the power system through a heat storage capacity of up to 79.5MWh lasting for 6 hours.

High thermal energy output: The RYQ series molten salt heater provides a thermal energy output of 9 million kcal/h, meeting the strict requirements of high-temperature heating processes.
Superior characteristics: Low viscosity, high stability, and high heat storage density make it an ideal choice for large-scale, long-term, and high-temperature heat storage.
Improved power generation efficiency: The introduction of the molten salt heater significantly enhances the power generation efficiency of the gas turbine generators, optimizing energy utilization through efficient heat conversion.
Robust thermal support: A thermal energy output of 9 million kcal/h provides a solid thermal foundation for the project’s high-temperature heating processes.
Significant environmental benefits: It is estimated that approximately 180,000 tons of carbon emissions can be reduced over the project’s lifecycle, while around 50 million cubic meters of short-term gas emissions can be captured, effectively reducing environmental pollution.
