ZOZEN supplied a WNS series oil-fired steam boiler to KPC in Kenya, and the boiler has now safely arrived at KPC’s project site for installation and commissioning. KPC is a large oil processing and transportation company. ZOZEN’s engineers customized the heavy oil-fired boiler according to the customer’s characteristics. Heavy oil has a high molecular weight and high viscosity, so this 5 ton oil boiler is installed with a filtration system and heating device to ensure smooth delivery and good atomization of heavy oil to achieve full combustion of the fuel, thus saving operating costs. The three-return wet back of this boiler enables the high temperature oil and fume gas to stay in the furnace for a longer period of time. In addition, combined with the large-diameter full waveform furnace liner inside, the thermal efficiency can reach over 98%. Meanwhile, it is equipped with specially designed heavy oil combustion device to improve the combustion performance of heavy oil.
